Thursday Nights 6:00 - 8:30 (On-Camera Audition 6:00 - 7:00 Followed by Playback & Review from 7:00 - 8:30) Rate: $10 per audition Description: Every TUESDAY they post a TV or Film audition notice on their site. Actors can read the breakdown and the script. If it fits them, they can register for the Thursday workshop. This will be treated as an actual casting. In this intensive two-hour workshop, actors discover how 'less is more' on film, and gain comfort and control with the silence and space of 'being in the moment.'

COST: $10 per session, per actor; cash or check upon arrival Actors will audition on-camera as if it were a real casting, then the Casting Directors will review their audition and provide immediate feedback. *Audition appointments are between 6:00 - 7:00 (review and feedback between 7:00 - 8:30) Every MONDAY between 12:00pm - 3:00pm, a new "Audition" Notice with an original custom written script will be posted at ds-studioworks.com/AUDITION-LAB.html. Read the character breakdown very carefully. The script will be available in a printable PDF link. Screenwriter Philip Nutman will present a 2-hour workshop and screening of short films from a horror film fest on Saturday afternoon April 30th at the PPWC in CO Springs. This is included in PPWC regular registration. If you can't attend the entire conference, he's offering an a la carte Thursday April 28th 3-hour intensive session for beginners through seasoned screenwriters to learn from one of the best.
